2014 Porsche 911 Turbo S: The Most Capable Grand Tourer? Ignition Ep. 104
On this episode of Ignition, Jonny Lieberman has a go with perhaps the most
capable grand touring car on the market, the new Porsche 911 turbo S. Combining 560 horsepower, upwards of 553
lb-ft of torque and several cows' worth of leather. Embarking on a cross
continental trip in the dead of winter, Jonny begins in frosty Georgia and
heads all the way back to Motor Trend's headquarters in Southern
California. Along the way he traverses ten States, meets up with friends
like Randy Pobst and John Hennessey, examines why Americans are so found of
road trips and just generally enjoys the hell out of one of the quickest
production cars on earth, the mighty 911 turbo S.
Ignition appears every other Monday on the Motor Trend youtube channel.

I take you onboard in the new 2014 Porsche 911 991 GT3 for a few laps
around Mores circuit. For this video I mounted three GoPro cameras in three
different angles, one on the roof, one on the inside and one on the rear
bumper near the Exhaust tips, so you
get to hear the sound of its 3.8 liter flat-six engine screaming both
inside and out!

The Porsche 918 Spyder Tested - CHRIS HARRIS ON CARS
The plug-in hybrid, mid-engine hypercar: The Porsche 918 Spyder.
Tested by /DRIVE's Chris Harris at the Valencia circuit in the winter of
2013. The Porsche 918 Spyder has come a long way since when we first saw

The engine weights 140 kg according to Porsche and it delivers 608 horsepower (453 kW) at
8,500 rpm and 528 N·m (389 lbf·ft) of maximum torque. This is
supplemented by two electric motors delivering an additional 279 hp (208
kW) - One 154 hp electric motor drives the rear wheels in parallel with the
engine and also serves as the main generator.

Porsche 991 GT3 vs 997 GT3 RS Sabine Schmitz - Drag Battle
Famous racer and tv-personality Sabine Schmitz pits her personal 997 GT3 RS
against the new 991 GT3. While there has been countless reviews on the new
991 Sabine's opinion matters. Having more than 20.000 Nurburgring km in her
personal 997 Taxi car and racing a 911 GT3 R in the VLN championship she is
the most qualified person to tell us if the new GT3 has lost it's edge.

1100HP Porsche runs sequential gearbox Evo IX on the street!
We are happy to see the infamous Evo IX is finally out ready to play after
it's transmission upgrade! The Evo normally runs around ~55psi, but now it
is running 45psi while testing the new Drenth sequential transmission. This
Porsche 911 turbo is no joke! It has run
9.4@156mph in the 1/4 mile and makes over 1100whp. This is not a PDK trans
in the Porsche, but the factory auto that has been beefed up in to handle
the power. Can't wait to see what happens when the Evo is turned up to it's
normal 55psi on that FP Super 94!
