SR20DET dyno tuning 480hp street and 630hp drag engines 2004
This video originally appeared as a bonus track on Hard Tuned Imports 3. It shows Dyno tuning of a serious street car with 480hp at the engine from an internally standard S13 black top engine, then engine Dyno tuning of a fully built S15 race engine with an HKS T51R Kai turbo making 630hp. Back in 2004 this was about as much power as anyone had made from an SR20 engine. Of course now with VE heads allowing much higher rpm and E85 fuel allowing much more Boost the best tuners are seeing more than 1000hp, but it's interesting to see where things started out.

This is my sr20det powered ke20 corolla. Yet more work to be done with E85 set up, fuel cell with surge tank, engine bay etc etc
This is all legit with engineering papers and the only one that I know of in WA with current set up. Painted in original colour with 5 X 120 stud conversion running 15" steelies with custom 9" rear steelies all covered with mooncaps and whitewall tyres. Will throw up a video of it once it's running with the full list of mods.
Z-Fever swaps SR20DET into 350Z.MOV
This is an 03 Nissan 350Z we just finished. We fully built an S14 SR20DET engine, built custom manifold, downpipe, Exhaust, engine mounts, coolant pipes, Intercooler pips, and wiring harness.
The key is that we had to run both the VQ35 and the SR20 ECU's. One manages the engine while the other manages the cars functions like VTC, gauges, cruise control, and more. It also runs the drive-by-wire throttle body. This is the trickiest part of this build and it is VERY cool indeed!
EVERYTHING works as if it was factory installed by Nissan (except the fact that it is putting down 500whp).

K.P. Tuning Evo 8 721whp 6266 meth 36psi dyno pulls
K.P. Tuning hitting the Dyno for the last time in 2011 with the new 2012 setup. Using JMF's new vband turbo kit and a pte6266 turbo the car laid down 721whp on the Dynojet at 36psi. The car is only on a single 675ml nozzle for the meth and is running a Clutch masters fx300 with a 4 puck disc as of now.
