Video of my 1956 Cadillac Fleetwood. Options include AC with ducts, power windows, 6 way power seat, power antenna, power operated foot switch for the radio(demonstrated in video), power brakes, autronic eye, power steering, fog lights, gold anodized grille. This car has 44K original miles and is mostly original. All of the chrome is original and the car has had one repaint.

1958 CADILLAC SIXTY SPECIAL FLEETWOOD -- CALLED MOTORDOM'S MASTERPIECE
This year the Caddy sheetmetal got only minor reshaping with spiked fins but yet called the most flamboyant Cadillac's yet with chrome extravaganza. The Series 60 Cadillac came in only this model shown, a hardtop sedan. Other Cadillac models were the Series 62, at the low end, and then above the Series 60 was the Series 70, the Eldorado Brougham, and the Series 75 the limo and commercial chassis for hearse and ambulance bases. This Series 60 Special cost $6,232 and 12,900 units were manufactured. The engine available is a V8, 365 cid with between 310 - 365 bhp. I admire this beauty because of it's luxury feel from the dagmar bumpers with it's rubber tips, and the " luxurious " black and gold fleck upholstery with white leather. How 'bout that hardtop look with the expanse of grooved stainless steel along the rear quarter panel with matching fender skirts ? Tons of chrome lathered on this Cadillac with glossy black paint make this a very fifties luxury car and a great example of what the GM Division called a Motordom's Masterpiece. Many of the motor's original ancillary items have been replaced by flashier hardware including: a chrome, single-snorkel air cleaner, chrome valve covers, a polished radiator overflow and an HEI distributor that's complete with 8mm Hi Temp wires. And thanks to two Optima gel cell batteries, the car fires so smoothly you may not even notice it's running. Behind that big engine, an original turbo-Hydramatic 400 3-speed spins a traditional GM 12-bolt that's complete with smooth 2.98 gears. Speaking of smooth, the car's long and low suspension, which is augmented with Air Ride Technologies air bags, glides over almost any imperfection with virtually no drama. And all that proven hardware rolls on slick Centerline Smoothies which spin 245/40R20 Firestone Firehawks around detailed Cadillac crests. If you're a fan of big time comfort, you'll be absolutely thrilled by this DeVille's custom black interior! The '63 Cadillac front and chopped rear seats are firm, supple and display virtually no signs of aging. 1909 Cadillac First Drive First Start in 79 Years
This is a follow up to the earlier 1909 Cadillac first start. Bob took his first drive in his 1909 Cadillac Model 30 touring September 1, 2013. He has owned this car for and been working on the restoration on and off for 46 years. The last time this Cadillac drive under its own power was in 1933, 80 years ago. There are still some bugs to work out, but it moves!. Update, this is the first actual drive for Bob's Cadillac.
