Test Drive: 1996 Cadillac Sedan Deville
This is the second of many test drive videos to come, expect drives of all the vehicles currently on the lot that I have not done already! Here is the 1996 cadillac deville with the 32v northstar V8 engine and dual Exhaust. I take it for a drive for the first time to check it over before it goes on the lot. I take it through some normal city driving, do a couple of acceleration passes and check it over in depth to make sure it's perfect, and of course it was :)

This Cadillic is Beautiful I LOVE these Big Bubble Body Cadillac cars. I dont know whether to call them a Fleetwood a Broughm or a deville kinda in between but the main thing is that the car has the Big ol 5.7 350 Theis Fleetwood with the 6.7 is likely the best combo cadi ever made hands down. drive it donk it lower it do what you will this is a 1 Owner low mile and Very well Maintained. This is my tricked out 96' V8 caddy with 300hp. on the movies it still has the standard lights and grill but the photos show it in full glamour with headlights from the newer version and a custom made grill. the pics in the begining show how much work i put in fixin the broken transmission. only modification i installed was changin the wheels (255/55 R18, 275/55 R18 rear) paintin it black with a small touch of pearl, i also installed blue & red LEDs in the gauges and switches.

Zero to 60 Run--4.6 Cadillac Northstar V8 vs. 4.9 OHV V8
Zero to 60 comparison between my new 2001 Cadillac Seville SLS with a 4.6 Northstar V8 and the 1991 Cadillac Sedan de Ville with a 4.9 that I've owned since 2005. The Northstar in the Seville is faster, especially at the top end, but the good old 4.9 in the DeVille holds its own--especially for an 18-year-old car with 257,000 miles on it.
Judging from the time codes in the video, the Seville did it in 7 second flat; the DeVille is just over 9 seconds.
Interestingly, both cars shift from 1st to 2nd at 45 MPH, and both hold 2nd gear all the way up to ~80 MPH. Without a tach in the DeVille, I have no idea how high it was revving, but it probably went close to redline.
The noise you hear besides the engine revving in the Seville is raindrops on the windshield. I had the camera on a tripod held down between my legs in the Seville; in the DeVille, it's just handheld, so it's shakier.
