Weapon X coils dyno testing in a FPV GT
Taipan Motorsport throw open the doors open and put the World's leader in ignition coils for late model Ford vehicles to the test. With a crowd of onlookers and the best 2WD Dyno between Sydney and Canberra the back to back results silence the critics and prove that Weapon X ignition coils earn the reputation once again. Fitted and Dyno tested in a BA GT 5.4 BOSS at Awesome Automotive Goulburn. This GT is N/A and returns a gain of 7.8 rear wheel Hp. Note that larger gains are seen with forced induction engines and that this GT still has the factory tune Dwell calibration. On factory Dwell Calibration the GT has about 70,000 Volts discharge from the coils however a fast SCT recalibration will net 80,000 Volts.
