NSSCC Knockhill Round 8 25-7-10 Honda Civic + Outside footage
Made a reasonable getaway but the warmer weather didn't help whatever problem the civic has. It gradually started to lose top end power again and starting stuttering in the mid range. It was a lot worse in race 2. I also had some troubles with the gearbox. There's some good outside footage at the end.
NSSCC Mallory Park Round 9 1-8-10 Honda Civic
My 1 qualifying lap got me a reasonable grid slot. Was going pretty well, the is now working as it should again. After a few laps, Paul started to edge away in the saxo. At this point I thought it was a good opportunity to try the other map on the ECU, so I flicked the switch. What a difference! I then started to reel Paul back in but ran out of laps. Was over the moon with the car, she's working again! BIG thanks go to Paul and Gavin Lee for fixing the car after it died in qualifying. I probably wouldn't have got out in the race if it wasn't for them!

started ok, but couldn't find my way through off the line, had a steady race with one spin at the goosneck but unfortunately the batteries failed in the camera just before!

1st Round of the NSSCC, was a nice sunny day, ran too little pressure in the tyre's so handled like a pig, tyre's went away from us and had a lonely race.

My 2nd fastest lap (if you call it fast) actually managed to qualify me 1st in class, I made a good start and kept out of the mele only to suffer gear selection problems. All the curb rattlings had taken its toll and pushed the Exhaust into the gear linkage meaning it was a struggle to get gears, especially 4th!
NSSCC Knockhill Round 7 25-7-10 Honda Civic PART 2
Mick Starkey got the jump on me at the restart, I backed off as I was either going to hit Mick or Alans formula 27. I didn't fancy hitting either. I quickly got back past Mick but he got me back not long after. It was then all down to the last lap and a drag to the finish. Mick unfortunately and probably for the 1st time ever went from 2nd to 5th so handing me 2nd on a plate. Wasn't the way I wanted it, would have been a photo finish on the line!

As I didn't complete a 2nd lap in qualifying I had to start from the back. I had brilliant fun. Unfortunately the camera died before catching the epic battle I had with Ian Humpish in his Beetle!

Got a reasonable getaway and kept fairly close to the group in front for a lap or so but then the car started to stutter and lose power again so dropped away. The session was red flagged due to an off. See part 2 for the restart and an epic final lap!
