Neil Gratton is doing a walk-through of the 2013 Toyota Highlander. Toyota has been producing the Toyota Highlander SUV since 2002. It underwent a major redesign in 2008. It has been one of our fastest growing vehicles on our lot. This was all accomplished with very little marketing from Toyota. Word of mouth is what is causing this vehicle to end up in more and more driveways in Alberta. The 2013 Highland fits nicely into the Toyota line-up as a natural step up from our RAV 4. IT comes in 3 models 4 cylinder front wheel drive, the 4 wheel drive V6, and the 4 wheel drive V6 limited.
Our 4 wheel drive models are definitely our best sellers here in Edmonton. The entry level 4 wheel drive V6 highlander is anything but basic it's great looking, seats 7, has plenty of great features, is great on gas, and starts at just under 36,000.
What I have here is our most popular model. The 4 wheel drive V6 with the sport package. The major factors that separate this one from the entry level package are the 19" tires and alloy wheels vs. this standard 17" tires and alloy wheels. 3 zone independent climate control vs. dual zone, heated black leather seats vs. cloth, and the power moon roof.
Look at the stylish appearance; the stance is aggressive, fog lamps are standard, colour keyed power adjustable heated mirrors tie in nicely with the body. The rear windows are tinted for privacy and are topped off with a body coloured spoiler.
The key-less entry faub allows easy access to each of the passenger compartment and the rear cargo areas. Either through the glass hatch or the power lift gate. This vehicle is powered by a 3.5 L V6 which generates 270 horsepower and 248 ft-lbs of torque. It can tow up to 5000 lbs. and is rated at 39 miles per gallon on the highway.
This vehicle is also filled with features on the inside. The standard audio system will play anything and will integrate easily with any of your personal listening devices. Controls are mounted on the steering wheel and blue tooth capability is standard so you won't be distracted in any way. A back up camera is integrated into the mirror for ease of parking and safety. Climate control also comes standard with this vehicle so all passengers can be comfortable and the driver gets an 8 way power seat. It is ideal for families as it is equipped with 7 seat belts 2 up front, 2 in the back, and 3 in the middle and it is rated as a top safety pick by the IIHS.
That is just the standard model. You can step up to the limited model and get even more features like premium JBL sound, voice activated navigation, smart key with push button start and much, much more. There is also the option of the Hybrid powertrain. This offers 43 miles per gallon in the city. View the fuel ratings here: http://www.toyota.ca/toyota/en/vehicles/highlander/specifications/capacity

http://www.Facebook.com/2Redline Toyota's Highlander was always a solid
player in the competitive family crossover segment. For 2014 the vehicle
has finally grown in size to give it that added space and utility buyers in
the segment demand. Will it be good enough to steal sales from the popular
Explorer and Pilot?
Top 4 Crossovers that can never go off-road
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) Here's an odd fact. Many of today's newest
crossover can't go off-road. Of course that doesn't mean that they are not
fun. It just means that while they look like they could take you to Everest
and back, they can really only go on snow and dirt covered roads. Here are
our top 4 fun non-offroad worthy Crossovers revealed and reviewed that
we've driven this year.
2013 Toyota Highlander | Vancouver Dealer Review
Randy Saunders is the General Sales Manager for West Coast Toyota. He will
be doing a walk through of the 2013 Toyota Highlander.
What he likes about it is the comfort is provides. There is a lot of leg
room, shoulder room and great visibility. You feel good in it when your
Customers that come back from test driving the 2013 Toyota Highlander have
a real smile on their face and say "I really really like that". It really
fits the needs of the customer so well. They get in and immediately like
It had a really powerful yet economic engine great fuel economy and beyond
that it is all wheel drive. You don't have to push a button or switch is on
or off you have the traction that you need. This contributes to a safe
drive of course, when you have better control of a vehicle you can avoid
and prevent a situation from happening.
The 2013 Toyota Highlander can seat 7. The back seats fold down into the
cargo area so you wouldn't know that it has 7 passenger seats and it has
all that cargo carrying versatility. When you need to have the seating you
just pop them back up and have an extra 2 seats in the back. This feature
makes it a perfect match for young families, grandparents etc.
The safety features include front air bags, side airbags, curtain airbags,
knee airbag on the drivers side, the star safety system which is included
in every Toyota make. There is not a better made or better built car than
the Toyota. Don't just take my word for it. Go online check accident and
safety rating reports.
The Toyota brand is the cheapest to maintain and gets the greatest resale
value on the market. It is not so much what you pay for a car but what it
costs to maintain it.
We look forward to seeing you at West Coast Toyota Soon.

http://www.Facebook.com/2Redline More than just a "sport" badge, Ford's new
Explorer with the 3.5 EcoBoost
delivers some driving enjoyment from behind the wheel with not much fuel
penalty from the base 3.5 V6. Our only complaints are a tight 3rd row and a
hefty price tag, making it one of the most expensive in the class. If you
can swing the cost, you will feel as if you are driving the most premium
feeling family crossover in the segment.

What I have to say about the 2013 Pathfinder: Way better than the previous
generation. I'm glad to finally see that Nissan switched to a Car Uni body
on the Pathfinder than the truck platform. Some People may not be happy
with that, but I'm sure most consumers will be as it helps fuel economy as
well as it gives it a more stylish look. My tester Car came in about 38,000
which is pretty expensive and It didn't have Navigation or a Sunroof. At
that price you can get a fully loaded Highlander with navigation and
sunroof Compared to it's Competitors it is way more competitive, because
of the fuel economy it now offers and the features. Bluetooth is now
standard on all models expect the S trim. The Pathfinder is a better
overall package, but will this redesign steal sales away from the top dogs
(Toyota Highlander, Ford Explorer, Honda Pilot).
