Chevrolet Camaro Documentary (National Geographic)
You’re looking at the most powerful open-top Chevrolet in the brand’s 100-year history: the 2013 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Convertible. Powered by the same supercharged 6.2-litre ‘LSA’ V8 engine as the 2013 Camaro ZL1 Coupe, the Convertible produces 432kW and 754Nm of torque. While the engine doesn’t quite meet the 485kW/813Nm heights of the 2013 Ford Shelby GT500 Coupe revealed at LA earlier this week, it easily accounts for some of the most exclusive European soft-top supercars, including the Porsche 911 turbo S Cabriolet (390kW/700Nm), Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Roadster (420kW/650Nm) and the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Spyder (412kW/540Nm). Chevrolet says the architecture of the fifth-generation Camaro – designed and engineered in Australia by GM Holden – was developed “from day one” to accommodate a convertible model, helping it achieve claimed “coupe-like driving dynamics”. A range of structural reinforcements have been used throughout the body and chassis aimed at reducing cowl and steering wheel shake, noise and vibration, and unwanted body motions that typically plague high-performance roadsters. The Camaro ZL1 Convertible’s ‘Magnetic Ride’ suspension adjusts damping levels up to 1000 times per second, which is around one adjustment per inch of vehicle travel at 100km/h. The 2013 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Convertible – which is not destined for Australia – goes on sale in the US early next year. Prices for the Model Year 2013 vehicle are not yet confirmed, but it is expected to start slightly higher than the Coupe at around US$60,000 ($59,700).

How To Drive A Manual - (The Secret To Never Stalling)
http://www.vehicle-virgins.com Vehicle Virgins teaches you how to drive a manual transmission vehicle. Driving stick can be difficult at first, but with a few key tips, it's not all that difficult. We at Vehicle-Virgins™ are a dedicated group of college students here to help you make one of the most important decisions of your life: buying your first car. What sets us apart from other consumer review organizations is our perspective of review; we approach the cars as any kid would, not only as a professional automotive journalist would. We take into account real-world decision factors such as budget, reliability, safety, and maintenance, but we also rate cars on their appeal to a younger market. At 19 and 20 years old, we have spent lots of time looking for our first cars, and we know what appeals to us as well as our friends. Our mission is to guide individuals in the right direction for their first car. Vehicle-Virgins reviews popular cars that young buyers are in the market for and helps them decide if the car they are looking at is a good choice. 2010 Camaro SS Birthday Surprise
May 2013 - Shane is now graduating from high school and the car remains in excellent condition. You might also be surprised to learn that he still hasn't gotten any tickets. We're very proud of the responsible young man he has become... Apr 2012 -- Well, Shane is now 17 and after 23,000 miles I'm happy to report that he still hasn't had any accidents or tickets. He'll be a senior next year and he's considering a career in automotive design. We'll be posting an update video soon!! Jan 2011 -- Shane has recently turned 16 and put more than 4,000 miles on the car without ANY incidents. He takes outstanding care of the vehicle and has grown to become a very responsible and mature teenager. Feb 2010 -- My wife and I ordered a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS as a surprise birthday gift for our fifteen year old son. This was a complete surprise and he had absolutely no idea that the car was his. On another note, I appreciate everyone's concern for his well-being, however I think it is more responsible for a parent to teach a teenager how to drive than to pretend that they're not going to drive fast. The car is not the danger; an inexperienced driver is usually what causes injury or death, regardless of their age.
