Chevy Colorado with Flowmaster 40 and onboard camera
I finally bought a new camera so the audio quality is pretty good. This is a video of my 2010 Chevy Colorado crew cab 3.7L with a flowmaster 40 series muffler. I have a Camera mounted to my rear bumper so you can hear what it sounds like while I'm driving. There is a fast take off @ 2:29and 2:54. I didn't get too crazy because I was driving through a park.
Chevy Colorado with Flowmaster 40 series muffler
I finally bought a new camera that has decent sound quality. This is just a short video of my 2010 Chevy Colorady I5 with a flowmaster 40 series muffler.
2004 Chevy Colorado Sport 1/4 Mile Run -- Flowmaster Super 40 -- Burning Rubber
Here is a quarter mile run in my modded Chevy Colorado with the 5 cylinder. Its running a single Exhaust catback with Flowmaster Super 40 muffler and a cold air intake. I ran a best of 15.1 @ 89 mph that night. Other tricks were dropping the air pressure in the rear tires (axle hop on Colorado's are terrible) and pulling about 200 lbs of crap out of the truck (spare tire, jack, sound insulation, interior bits and installing a lighter aftermarket hood). I was a little disappointed that I never got it into the 14s. My truck was a black regular cab (the lightest Colorado you can get). I don't think Chevy allows you to order the I-5 engine on base regular cabs any more. That Aisin 5 speed manual was the best I've ever experienced in a truck (and it was the same manual used in the Solstice /Sky).
Overall it was a fun truck, but I have since traded it in on something much faster. I do miss that unique, raspy 5 cylinder growl when I had it wide open, though.
