1969 Pontiac Firebird 400
This is my 1969 Pontiac Firebird 400 project-Plans for this car are drum to disc brakes upgrades first! You can hear the old drums squeeking as I brake! suspension, interior, and house of kolor candy apple red paint with black rally stripes! Audio system and interior are already being worked on. Also im planning to lower it 2 inches all around. Im debating on wether to paint the wheels black or match them kandy apple red? or try to combine both black and candy red for the rims? What do you think?
Engine is a freshly rebuilt 400 block, .060 bored, hooker headers, holley carb, holley electric fuel pump, and dual flowmasters. For now not focusing on the engine but I've been thinking about rebuilding a faster 400 and upgrading the automatic transmission to a manual shift 5 speed. Not trying to build a car show quality or a superfast car, mostly a cruiser and once in a while fun at the drag strip.

1969 Pontiac Firebird 400 - Suzy Q
Mike took his 69 Firebird out for one last ride on August 1, 2009.
Ten days later it was shipping from New Jersey heading to Norway.
He sold it to a collector in Norway where there is a big interest in the American Muscle Car.
Long live his Firebird - Suzy Q!

1967 67 Pontiac Firebird -- 326 V8 Engine Running MagnaFlow Exhaust Sound
Gets good around 00:50... See my website (http://www.firebird67.com) for current restoration progress.
So, the engine is a rebuilt 326 V8, the headers are Doug's Headers (Pertronix), and the Exhaust system is MagnaFlow: dual pipes to a X-pipe then into dual mufflers.
It is running incredibly rich. It has guzzled 10L of petrol and travelled not even a fraction of an inch. The insides of the Exhaust pipes are already black, and the spark plugs are covered. But, no point in calibrating this carburetor, I have just rebuilt a QuadraJet to put on very soon...
