Ion Redline vs. Cobalt SS round 2
Me and a buddy racing on the way down to the track. He has intake, I have intake and cat-back...and a passenger. I shifted slow and a little early into 5th and he missed 5th once. After he got a car back he let off but we just felt like going a little faster. My passenger was on the phone so he was narrating for the person on the phone.
Z06 vs. Redline GOOD
My Ion Redline vs. a C5 Z06. I got a slight jump on this 453whp beast (You can hear the driver yell CHEATER lol), but managed to stay ahead. We both started in third gear at around 50mph and went clear to about 150. I thank the driver of the Vette for allowing this speed/gear combo because it was the only way to keep my tires from blowing loose (See my other video).
For the Nay-sayers: The Z06 has a cam, intake, headers, cleared out cats, Patriot Heads, full Magnaflow Exhaust, and tuned with EFI Live.
The Redline has a 2.7 pulley, Cobra HE, 60lb injectors, I tuned it with HP Tuners, Pacesetter header, cleared out cat, custom 3" intake, 150 wet shot of Nitrous, C16 race gas.

My good friend was out one night having a hard time looking for a race in his 2006 Saturn Ion Red Line. Someone in a turbo Eclipse finally decided to race against him. And yes, the guy in the turbo Eclipse was giving it all he had, even with a head start.
