Huge Turbo BMW 3-Series vs. Hybrid Turbo Nissan GT-R – Street Hits

September 26th, 2023

Letting it all hang out on the streets, these two imports are insanely modified, precisely tuned and ready for action. It’s roll racing time and the venue is a major interstate (in Mexico). Place your seats in the upright position and buckle-up because it’s about to get crazy around here.

The 2022 BMW 3-Series is a rear-wheel drive sedan powered by an all-aluminum (block and head) turbocharged inline 6-cylinder engine that can make 382hp in stock trim. Shifted using an 8-speed automatic transmission, the 3-Series can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.8-seconds and roll through the quarter-mile in 12.4-seconds @ 114 mph. Factory set top speed is 156 mph. The BMW in this video has been upgraded with a Precision 6466 turbocharger, performance exhaust and an E85 tune. He’s now claiming 750whp. He should be fast.

In the opposite lane is the all-wheel drive 2023 Nissan GT-R. Also modified for increased performance, the stock GT-R comes with a twin turbo 3.8-liter V6 engine and a 6-speed auto shift manual gearbox. The stock GT-R can produce 568hp, accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.0-seconds and turn the quarter-mile in 11.2-seconds. This car has been modified with SiR 53-millimeter turbochargers and everything it takes to make them perform to optimum standards. He’s claiming 770whp.

Both cars are of a similar weight and power. The only thing left to do is line them up and see what jumps off.
