ProCharged F-Body Camaro vs. Charger Hellcat – 60 to 150 Street Hits

April 5th, 2024

We are taking it back to the streets (of Mexico) this evening for some high-spirited roll racing action. This will be a Chevrolet versus Dodge battle and it will be a single pass for all the marbles. Enjoy.

A rear-wheel drive sedan, the Dodge Charger Hellcat is one of the most powerful mass-produced vehicles ever made. Equipped with a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 HEMI, the Hellcat is capable of producing 797hp and 707 lb.-ft. of torque. In stock condition the Charger Hellcat could accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.5-seconds and turn the quarter-mile in 11.5-seconds @ 126 mph despite a curb weight of 4,654-pounds. Top speed is a computer controlled 203 mph and the hefty sedan utilizes an 8-speed automatic transmission. This Mopar has been upgraded with a set of exhaust headers and it has been tuned to burn E85 fuel.

The fourth generation F-Body Chevrolet Camaro was produced between 1993 and 2002. This was the final iteration of the F-Body platform. The F-Body featured in this video has been modified with a larger motor. It’s a 6.0-liter engine stroked out to 408 cubic-inches. Outfitted with an F1A ProCharger – and all the related hardware – the Chevy is running a manual transmission.

Let’s get these rides on the interstate and see how the fumes unfold.
