Modified 2019 Dodge Charger Hellcat vs Stock 2021 Ford Mustang GT500 – Single Street Hit

November 16th, 2021

Two of the baddest cars to ever come out of Detroit take to the streets (of Mexico) in this clip. Representing the sedan segment is the 2019 Dodge Charger Hellcat (with a few mods). Rolling out for the coupe contingent is a bone stock Ford Shelby Mustang GT500.

The Dodge Charger Hellcat is equipped with a supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI engine mated to an automatic transmission. The Hellcat HEMI can generate a maximum of 707hp and 650 lb.-ft. of torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4.0-seconds and turn the quarter-mile in 11.9-seconds @ 126.6 mph. This Hellcat has been modified with a lower (crankshaft) pulley upgrade, a high-flow intake manifold, a catalytic converter delete kit and a 93-octane fuel tuner. She’s a very nasty kitty.

Also powered by a supercharged motor (all-aluminum 5.2-liter), the Shelby Mustang GT500 is capable pf producing 760hp and 625 lb.-ft. of torque. The stock GT500 featured in this video can rocket from 0 to 60 mph in 3.3-seconds and turn the quarter-mile in 9.3-seconds @ 155 mph.

Like the old bootleggers say, it’s all over but the proofing now. Time to turn them loose on the street.
