Import vs. Domestic Street Hits – Supra vs. C8 Corvette and Nismo 370Z vs. Coyote Mustang

April 12th, 2022

Tonight, the imports are biting at the domestics and the domestics are snapping back. On an evening when we see supercharged, turbocharged and naturally aspirated street machines, the roll racing couldn’t get much hotter. Hang onto your hat and buckle your safety belt – something is about to jump off around here.

First up, we have a 2020 Toyota Supra modified with a catless exhaust downpipe and a Phat Botti tune. He’s going against a 5.0 Ford Mustang with full bolt-ons burning E85 fuel. The Mustang gets a slight jump early before the Supra whips him mercilessly. Multiple camera angles document the savage gaptizing with undeniable clarity. Ouch!

Next, the Supra jumps on a C8 Chevrolet Corvette Z51 with a de-catted exhaust system. The ‘Vette takes a sizable advantage early, but the Supra drives around him once the turbo spools up. Duplicate hits prove unfruitful for the Chevy as the Supra is just too much for him to handle.

A second Mustang 5.0 (tuned by Palm Beach Dyno) gets in the Supra action now. He’s running racing exhaust and a 10-speed automatic transmission. Again, the Supra pulls away with the victory. This time, it’s a closer race.

Plenty more import versus domestic street racing action on this one.
