800HP Shelby F150 Super Snake – Dyno and Street

July 17th, 2023

Palm Beach Dyno (PBD) is quietly turning out some impressive high-performance hardware. This short clip features a PBD creation based on a 2022 Ford F-150 Shelby Super Snake. This amazing vehicle is what one might envision if a luxury pickup mutated into a race car. Here are the details of this amazing build.

The F-150 came with a naturally aspirated Gen IV 5.0-liter Coyote engine. Shelby adds a 3.0-liter Whipple blower as well as serious intake and throttle body upgrades. This snake is also modified with a Shelby tuned Borla exhaust system and high-performance fuel injectors. Exterior mods include a Shelby Super Snake hood and functional fender vents.

Enter PBD. They remove the Whipple supercharger and send it out to Jokerz Performance for some expert porting. The supercharger pulley is also upgraded. That yields a major bump in horsepower. Next, they upgrade the fuel injection system (again) and install a set of longtube exhaust headers. Since the 2022 F-150 is equipped with Flex Fuel, it can be programmed to burn diverse fuels. This one can alternate between 93-octane pump gas and E80 racing fuel. By the time the PBD dyno session is complete, this F150 has exhibited the capacity to plant 800hp to the rear wheels.

Time to hit the streets and see what this Cowboy Cadillac can really do.
