TT Lambo vs. EVO IX – Heads Up Street Hits

January 5th, 2019

Back on the streets (of Mexico, of course) with a huge wad of import power. This video features only two cars, but – wow! – what a pair!

The first is a stock weight 2006 DSM EVO IX that has been thoroughly and skillfully modified (by Machines Gone Wild of Miami, Fla.) for maximum performance. It is loaded for bear with a Mivec 4G63 (2.2-liter) Stroker motor with a ported and polished cylinder head and Kelford 288 camshafts. It uses AEM Infinity engine management, tuned by Lance Toyomoto, and dual (1700cc) fuel injectors for fuel delivery. An AMS intake manifold and a Forced Performance FP Super 99 turbo kit deliver copious amounts of air to the little four cylinder which is mated to a sequential transmission with an Exedy triple-clutch.

The 2015 Lamborghini Huracan uses a stock engine with a pair of Garrett turbochargers and a Syvek engine controller to churn out 1,120hp at the wheels (all-four). The car is prepared by Speed by Design.

Enough talk; it’s time to race and you just might be surprised by this close contest. Have a look.
