ProCharged C6 Corvette vs. FBO Coyote Mustang GT – Street Hits

March 1st, 2022

These guys are taking it back to the streets (of Mexico) for some 30 and 40 mph roll racing.

The C6 (2005-2013) Chevrolet Corvette has been radically modified using a belt driven ProCharger for forced air induction. The tuned Corvette has also been treated to a set of exhaust headers and an aftermarket intake manifold. For some strange reason, it’s only making 3-pounds of boost.

The Coyote (modular engine) powered Mustang GT has been enhanced with a full accoutrement of bolt-on performance goodies. They include an aftermarket intake manifold that has been ported and polished as well as a cat delete exhaust setup. It has also been tuned to run E85 fuel. This one is naturally aspirated.

These are two great looking cars that contrast one another beautifully on the street.

The first hit is a 40 mph roll. Both cars are making video footage. The two competitors pull alongside each other and stabilize at 40 mph. A shout rings out in the night, “1 – 2 – 3” and both machines accelerate wildly. The ‘Vette takes the advantage and gradually pulls away until he has brutally gapped the Mustang.

Can the Ford make a comeback in the 30 mph roll? Watch and see for yourself.
