Ford Mustang GT500 vs. BMW M4 – Street Hits

June 20th, 2023

Greetings fellow gearheads. Big Frank has done it, again. He wandered upon a grudge race between a pair of extraordinarily quick machines. One is from the land of the red, white and blue. The other is made in Germany. Check these cruisers out.

The Ford Mustang GT500 is a beast. With a supercharged 5.2-liter V8 under the hood, this monster can rustle up 760hp and turn the quarter-mile in 11.4-seconds at 132 mph – and that’s in factory condition. According to Car and Driver Magazine, the stock GT500 can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.6-seconds. This pony car has been modified with a catless exhaust and tuned to burn E85 fuel.

Born in the Bavarian tradition, the BMW M4 (Competition) rolls off the assembly line with a twin turbocharged inline 6-cylinder engine that can manage 444hp. This coupe can accelerate from 0 to 60 in 3.8-seconds and turn the quarter-mile in 12.8-seconds. This Beemer has been upgraded with catless exhaust downpipes and tuned to burn E50 fuel. It’s faster than you think.

Climb in, buckle-up and let’s see who is fastest.
