Dyno Pulls – ProCharged LSX Corvette Z06

November 1st, 2022

The dyno room is where bull-smack comes to die. Luckily for bull-smack, Real Street Performance has one of the cleanest and most sophisticated dyno rooms in the country. Without further ado, let’s strap this beast down and get ready to rumble.

This C6 Chevy Corvette Z06 has been upgraded with a 441 cubic-inch (7.0-liter stroker) LSX V8 engine with forged internals (crankshaft, connecting rods and pistons). The cylinder heads are factory LS7s with CNC porting.  Up top there are Manton Pushrods and a CHE rocker arm/trunnion kit. A Holley EFI Hi-Ram intake manifold acts as liaison between the blower and the engine. It has a103-millimeter Nick Williams throttle body. An F-1R ProCharger provides the forced air induction. The modified fuel system includes a set of 2150cc Fuel Injection Connection injectors, a Holley Dominator billet auxiliary pump and a Hell Cat primary pump. Spent exhaust is carried away using a set of American Racing 2-inch exhaust headers with 3-inch collectors and an Off-Road X-Pipe with Hooker straight pipes from the axle back. This blue bullet uses a reflashed factory PCM tuned to run E85. The transmission is a Tremec TR6060 manual.

The initial dyno pull yields 1110whp and 965 lb.ft. of torque (19-degrees of timing). After the timing is advanced to 21-degrees, a second pull nets 1141whp and 1010 lb.-ft. of torque. No third pull will be required.

Can’t wait to see this car in action.
