BMW, Mazda, Nissan, Subaru, Chevy and Pontiac Street Racing – Roll and Dig

December 8th, 2021

The nights are getting cooler, but the street racing is heating up. Tonight, we take a ride with a group of competitors determined to get their race on. They are taking it to the streets for some 40, 50 and 60 mph rolls, as well as a little dig racing. Buckle up!

In our first contest, we have a BMW 135i drop top, with an aftermarket exhaust downpipe and a MHD 93 (octane) tune, running against a Subaru WRX STI (with a full roster of bolt-ons and an external wastegate). The BMW jumps out early before the Subaru spools up and catches him for the late victory. Nice, close race.

Next, the little BMW takes on a Chevy Camaro SS with unknown mods. The Camaro sounds mean but never gets hooked up. BMW FTW.

Now, a MAZDASPEED 3 with an upgraded turbocharger tangles with the BMW. Surprisingly, the Mazda has some get-up-and-go. Before the BMW knew what was happening, he got up and went. Mazda for the victory.

A dig race between a stock C6 Corvette and a Pontiac G8 GXP (bolt-ons) was next on the itinerary. Even with the mods on the Pontiac, the ‘Vette was a little too much to handle. Corvette for the win in multiple passes.

The C6 would go on to roll race against a Nissan GT-R before taking it to the barn. Lots more street racing action on this clip.
