Twin Turbo C8 Corvette vs. Big Turbo MKV Supra – Street Hits

September 7th, 2023

These cats are throwing down on the streets tonight. There’s a TT Stingray, a modified Supra and even an LS Swapped Genesis (Hyundai) – not to mention the street bikes. It’s about to get extreme around here.

The Chevrolet Corvette Stingray started out as a naturally aspirated vehicle with a 6.2-liter V8 engine capable of making 490hp. The mid-engine powered C8 is the most capable Corvette in a long line of models recognized for performance prowess. Featured in this video is a C8 that has been upgraded with a twin turbocharger kit, including an intercooler and a methanol injection setup. This car can likely produce more than 1,000hp in its current state of modification.

Lining up across from the ‘Vette is a MKV Supra. Equipped with a turbocharged inline 6-cylinder 3.0-liter engine, the stock Supra can make upwards of 380hp. This car has been enhanced with a larger turbo and an E70 Botti tune. The transmission has also been beefed-up to accommodate the increase in power. Maximum output is unknown, but this car is very fast.

In the first hit, the Supra walks away from the Corvette despite having a smaller engine and less induction.

The speedy Supra is also taking on an Audi RS3 with an upgraded turbo, a stock BMW S1000R street bike and an LS swapped Genesis with twin turbos. Sounds like an entertaining evening.
