Three-Way Drag Race – Koenigsegg Agera vs. Porsche 911 Turbo S vs. Modified Audi TT

August 18th, 2023

Today we have a three-way drag race between very serious competitors. The Porsche 911 Turbo S is a well-known model. This one is virtually stock. Another popular production model, the Audi TT has been modified to increase performance. Fewer people have been introduced to the final entry. The Koenigsegg Agera RST  is a Swedish made supercar with a sticker price of approximately $4.6-million (U.S.).

The Audi TT is running a 3.0-liter inline 6-cylinder engine and a massive 75-millimeter turbocharger. This brute of an Audi is capable of producing more than 1,350hp (at full boost). Unfortunately, he is detuned to 950hp for today’s festivities.

Boasting a twin turbo flat 6-cylinder engine that can make 650hp, the Porsche 911 Turbo S is a rolling icon. In stock condition the Turbo S can rocket from 0 to 60 mph in 2.6-seconds and turn the quarter-mile in 9.9-seconds @ 138 mph – according to Car and Driver Magazine. This all-wheel drive, mid-engine German lady is no slacker.

Now for the Swedish entry – the Koenigsegg Agera RST is going to blow away the competition. It’s no secret. This thing is equipped with a twin turbocharged 5.0-liter V8 making 1,360hp at a curb weight of just over 3,000-pounds. It has a top speed of 273 mph and can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 2.8-seconds. The rear-wheel drive Agera can eclipse the quarter-mile in 9.96-seconds @ 155 mph.

Time to line ‘em up and cut ‘em loose. Whoa! This one looks closer than expected!
