Street Pulls – 800WHP EVO

November 3rd, 2017

What could be sweeter than an 800whp DSM? How about a warm night of roll racing on the highways of Mexico? The feature car is a 2005 Mitsubishi Evolution (8) that has been radically modified to enhance performance. It is powered by an EVO 9 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that has been built by AG Autosport (with steel connecting rods). The bottom end is rated at 1,000hp. As stated, the S2000 is running a Toyota power train, including a 2JZ in-line 6-cylinder (built bottom end) engine with a giant turbocharger. The combo is good for about 1,100hp. Things get interesting when two similarly equipped Supra Read More

Import Street Shootout – Mitsubishi Evo vs. Honda Civic

April 7th, 2016

Import aficionados will really appreciate this video. Roll racing is the order of the day and there’s a well put together Mitsubishi that’s beating the brakes off everything. There is also several bonus runs with various imports making a Mustang Cobra look pretty weak. The main event is between a 500hp Civic and the aforementioned Evolution. The Honda is trying to get dialed-in (and the Mitsubishi is giving him ample opportunity) but the Evo is quite a hand-full. The Mitsubishi is running a built 2.0-liter engine block (stock cylinder head) with upgraded camshafts and a twin-scroll Precision 6070 dual ball-bearing Read More
