In preparation for the Summer No Prep Kings Season, Street Outlaw Daddy Dave is busy working the bugs out of his brand-new sled. You may remember Daddy Dave from his early days in various S10 pickups and more recently, in the Goliath Chevy II Nova. This season has him rolling up to the starting line in a very different brand of machine. It’s what Dave calls an Audi S5. Dave Comstock and his crew commissioned Tynan Race Cars to build the Beast of an Audi that we are watching in this video. Of course, it’s a Pro Mod. Get over Read More

World Record C8 Corvette – Quarter-Mile Drag Racing

August 31st, 2022

Late Model Racecraft (LMR) showed up at Houston Raceway Park on Saturday night with a fire in their belly. These guys fully intended to smash the standing quarter-mile world record for a mid-engine powered C8 Chevrolet Corvette. They planned to accomplish this feat with their newly built twin turbo C8. Hang on tight, this thing is a beast. This is the C8 Corvette Stingray with the 6.2-liter LT2 engine and a manual transmission. The engine is running a stock crankshaft with forged (upgraded) pistons and connecting rods. The turbochargers are from Precision and the custom auxiliary fuel cell with dual Read More

The Patriot – 2500+WHP Nitrous Camaro Hits the Dyno

August 19th, 2022

Today, we get a chance to sit in on Fuel Tech’s Advanced Dyno Training Session with the 1968 Patriot Camaro and the Robert Hayes Motorsports (RHM) crew. After a major crash during a Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings small-tire race, the Patriot Camaro spent the summer months getting a chassis upgrade at the Hayes Motorsports facility. Just for good measure, they also jerked the 632 cubic-inch big block mill out and installed a Pat Musi 959 cubic-inch motor. To add insult to injury, the guys also went with a four-stage nitrous kit. Can you say KABOOM?! As anyone can see Read More

World’s Fastest C8 Corvette by FuelTech

June 17th, 2022

So, this here is the world’s fastest (quarter-mile) C8 Chevrolet Corvette anywhere. As one might imagine, this is not your run of the mill Chevrolet Corvette. It has been radically modified by the experts at FuelTech in Atlanta. Of course, the C8 version is the first mid-engine Corvette ever produced. It rolls off the assembly line with a naturally aspirated 6.2-liter LS engine that can generate 495hp and 495 lb.-ft of torque. The maniacs at FuelTech got ahold of this one and went stark, raving mad. They added a pair of turbochargers (up high where they can be seen) and Read More

Intending to set the World Record for Quickest C8 Corvette, Anderson Dick (founder and owner of FuelTech) showed up at the Outlaw Street Car Reunion (OSCR) at the Virginia Motorsports Park over the weekend. First Acura Integra in the 7s

February 4th, 2020

Front-wheel drive drag cars me feel like I’m going to hurl. It’s a lot like a train wreck. I know it’s ugly, but I can’t look away. What’s not ugly is the degree of traction these little cars can muster coming out of the hole. Check it out. This car is being billed as the first 7-second Acura Integra and I have absolutely no reason to doubt this claim. It is a 2000 Acura Integra with a (basically) stock block and heads. It has been professionally built with aluminum connecting rods, forged pistons and Web camshafts. The intake manifold is Read More
