Here is some video of a Lamborghini Aventador running heads up against McLaren MP4-12C.  The Aventador owner claims to have found a secret launch code to increase the Aventador’s launch RPM from 5,000 to 8,000.   While this sounds like a recipe for a destroying a very expensive Lamborghini 7 speed ISR transmission, everything seems to hold up well with the Aventador coming off the line very hard.   The McLaren MP4-12C was modified with cat delete exhaust system and ECU upgrade quoting 724 HP.

Looks like a very close race with the description in the video stating 6.9 for both in the 1/8 mile which is good for mid 10’s if they were running in the 1/4 mile.
