Fast Lane Jane’s LS3 Swapped 1964 Corvette Restomod

July 27th, 2022

Greetings fellow auto enthusiasts. Meet Fast Lane Jane and her bodacious 1964 Chevrolet Corvette. Jane is so much more than a pretty face. She is a serious driver with a competitive streak as wide as the Mississippi River. Believe me when I tell you, she’s in it to win it – whatever “it” is.

Jane’s Corvette has been artfully upgraded with an LS3 V8 engine block bored out to 416 cubic-inches and loaded with a SCAT forged rotating assembly (crankshaft and connecting rods). With all the bells and whistles, this naturally aspirated V8 is making 596hp and 610 lb.-ft. of torque.

The transmission is a T-56 manual and the final drive gears (in the rear end) are 3.73:1.

The front and rear suspension systems are from a later model (C4) Corvette, and they have both been upgraded with aftermarket goodies. One of the features that makes this ‘Vette unique is the GTS Customs transverse cantilever mount independent rear suspension. The shocks are RideTech, the brakes are Baer and the wheels are 18-inch Forgeline.

The interior is all business with Autometer analog gauges and a set of Corbeau racing seats.

Jump in and let Fast Lane Jane take us on a ride we’ll never forget.
