While attending the Doorslammers event in jolly old Santa Pod, England, 1320 Video encountered what may well be the ultimate street sleeper. It all begins with the custom-tailored Volkswagen Four-Motion drivetrain. Without this feature, the car could not appear as innocuous as it does today. The ability to transfer huge power to all-four corners is essential to sneakiness. Front and rear independent suspension doesn’t hurt either.

Under the bonnet (as they say in the UK) is a fully built 2.0-liter Volvo motor. The obvious choice was an Audi motor, but no such option was available when the car was built in 2008. Feeding copious amounts of air to the Volvo mill is a Xona Rotor 105-69s turbo. Exhaust and intake manifolds are custom fabricated as are the engine and transmission mounts. The transmission is a sequentially shifted manual. On the dyno, this mad bumblebee has been certified to 950whp.

With an 8.94-second personal best in the quarter-mile, this black beauty is expected to break a lot of hearts.
