Trolling the dusty highways and byways of Old Mexico, the Street Science crew encountered a band of merry street racers doing their thing. Imports and domestics were locking horns and burning rubber in a shameless spectacle of horsepower and acceleration. You’ll love it.

We start the evening with a BMW 340i running a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline 6-cylinder engine. It has been upgraded with a Precision 6870 turbo, a custom intake manifold and an E85 tune. The transmission has also been built. He will be going against a MKV Toyota Supra that is outfitted with virtually the same setup as the Beemer. They will be rolling from 60 to 160 mph. In multiple hits, the Supra seems to have a slight edge.

Next, we have a Cadillac CTS-V Coupe modified with a twin turbo setup, He’s running a stock engine and a set of worn out drag radials. This boy dog is claiming over 900hp. He will be taking on the Supra. I’m no math whiz, but it seems like 900hp just got whooped by 800hp in multiple hits. Supra FTW.

The Caddy will be rolling out against a twin turbo 5.0 Mustang for the next race. The Ford treats the CTS-V to another round of gaptational therapy before they both cruise home for the night.
