2024 Lamborghini Revuelto – 1000HP Plug-In Hybrid

October 11th, 2023

Drum roll, please. It’s here – the 1,000hp 2024 Lamborghini Revuelto has finally made it. The Revuelto offers innovative features like torque vectoring, regenerative braking, all-wheel steering and active aerodynamics but retains the time-tested Lambo standard of high-revving, naturally aspirated, mid-engine performance. Throttle House takes us along on a track-based review of this brand-spanking-new Italian supercar.

It all begins with a mid-mounted 6.5-liter V12 engine that can make 814hp and 535 lb.-ft. of torque – but, that ain’t where it ends. There’s also a trio of electric motors capable of generating the equivalent of 148hp and 258 lb.-ft. of torque. If you’re keeping score, that’s 1,001hp and 793 lb.-ft. of torque. It’s all mated to an 8-speed dual clutch automatic transmission feeding an all-wheel drivetrain. Car and Driver Magazine says the Revuelto can accelerate from 0 to 60 in 2.3-seconds and turn the standing quarter-mile in 9.7-seconds @ 121 mph. Top speed is 218 mph (computer controlled). Safe to say, it’s fast.

Of course, being a Lamborghini, the Revuelto is ready to tackle the drag strip, the road course or city streets. It is technologically advanced, subtly sophisticated and stunningly capable. Check out the track test and see for yourself.
