158 MPH Corvette Z06 – Track Rolls

May 24th, 2019

Greetings racing fans and welcome to Bradenton, Florida for Street Car Carmegeddon. This year’s event is crawling with fast cars and fierce competitors from all over the world. Hold onto your hats, this should be a good one!

Featured in this video is a 2007 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 with a gently modified 7.0-liter V8 engine. It has been treated to a set of pistons by Carillo Performance, but it still has the stock crankshaft and connecting rods. It has a vintage AP twin turbo setup with 61-millimeter twins. The manually shifted transmission is fortified in some unknown manner and uses a Mantic triple-disc clutch. Justin Jordan Performance handles the tuning. The car is capable of producing 1,030hp. That is no small feat on stock rods.

Roll racing is the order of the day. In the first hit, the BAD 7Z (license plate) lines up against a slick Nissan GT-R. They back ‘em up and slingshot ‘em out. It’s a dead heat through the first half-track. After that, BAD 7Z gets him – rowing through them gears. ‘Vette FTW!

Lots more roll racing from the track at Bradenton Motorsports Park in sunny Florida.
