Here we have a sixteen-year labor of love. It is artfully displayed in the form of Justin’s 2002 Chevrolet Camaro SS. After purchasing the car from a used car lot, Justin began the transformation that has taken this car from less than stock to the 1200hp beast you see today. As a dual-purpose vehicle, this Camaro can dominate on street or strip.

It all begins under the hood with an all-aluminum 6.0-liter LSx V8 engine. Premium internals include boost pistons and Eagle connecting rods. The crankshaft is stock, and the cylinder heads are ported Wilkes 862s. Brian Tooley Racing is responsible for the Stage 3 camshaft and valvetrain. Lifters are from Johnson. The push rods are PTR. An Edelbrock intake sits atop the mighty mill.

Providing the extra fuel needed for the turbo motor is a Holley Terminator X EFI setup. Featured in the custom turbo kit is a VS Racing T6 turbocharger (85-millimeter). The intercooler is air-to-air, and it is massive. The car has made 1,200whp on the dyno – and it ain’t even turned up!

A TH400 automatic transmission is behind the big LSx. Key components include a stock case with billet drums, upgraded clutches and a Circle D converter. The rear end is an 8.8-inch built by Hawk Performance.

The car is rolling on polished Billet Specialties wheels wrapped in Hoosier rubber.
