1100WHP C7 Corvette Z06

1100whp-c7-corvette-z06This 9-minute video brings us a step-by-step guide on how to build a run-of-the-mill Corvette Z06 (if such a thing exists) into an 1100whp pavement pounding monster. Vengeance Racing out of Cumming, Georgia is the outfit responsible for producing this outstanding specimen.

As you will discover, this Chevy undergoes a major transformation. The engine is removed from the chassis and upgraded with a Vengeance recirculating catch can and a Vengeance Stage III racing camshaft. It also got a set of Vengeance CNC ported LT4 cylinder heads and a set of custom Vengeance valve covers. Once the power plant was reinstalled, it was treated to a Vengeance custom specification fuel system. Forced air induction is accomplished with a Procharger F1X supercharger, an upgraded intercooler,  and a AlkyControl triple methanol injection system. Spent exhaust gases are whisked away with a set of 2-inch ARH longtube exhaust headers and forced through an Akrapovic titanium exhaust with carbon fiber tips. This ride has the best of everything and it is being equipped to run both 1/4-mile and 1/2-mile tracks.

Once the car is reassembled, it’s put up or shut up time over on the dyno. After that the crew and car hit the streets of rural Georgia, Mexico for a quick test drive – and I mean quick! Ominous musical (and exhaust) tones and stunning camera work make this a must see video. If you love fast ‘Vettes, you’ll really love it.
