Kong Ported Mustang GT500 vs. 1100HP Corvette ZR1 – Street Hits

August 1st, 2023

A war is brewing on the dusty streets of Old Mexico. No blood will be shed – but gasoline and rubber will burn. This battle is between a Ford Mustang GT500 and a souped-up Corvette ZR1. Other modified vehicles are also on-hand to get their share of the glory. We join the action, already in progress.

First up is a clash between a 1,100hp Ford Mustang GT500 with a Kong ported blower and a 900hp Ford Mustang GT350 with a Hellion Sleeper turbo kit. That means a pair of 55-millimeter turbochargers. This is an unexpectedly close series of hits with the GT500 taking the early advantage and the GT350 clawing him back near the end.

Next up is a skirmish between the 1,000hp Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 with a Synergy ported 2.3-liter supercharger as well as a camshaft and cylinder head(s) upgrades and the 1,100hp GT500. This time, the Chevy takes the early edge in multiple hits before walking away from the GT500 with ease.

Things heat up when a manually shifted 1,100hp Ford Mustang GT (equipped with an RPG built engine and a pair of 64-millimeter turbochargers) rolls out against a (Lethal Performance) Corvette with a Kong ported (2650) blower and all the goodies. The ‘Vette jumps out to an early lead and gaptizes the Mustang in an ugly way.

There are more Fords and Chevys in this one. There are even some Hellcats and imports. Enjoy the action.
