The brand new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette C7 Stingray’s are just starting to hit the streets and we’ve got some dyno results from one of the first customer purchased cars. Here is a good heads up roll race with a 2013 SRT Viper against a 2012 Porsche 911 Turbo S. While it would seem like the Viper has the advantage with it’s 640HP V10 and 3,330 pound weight vs the 911 Turbo’s 530HP flat 6 and 3,500 pound weight, the 911 Turbo’s PDK transmission makes up the difference. Of course from a stop the outcome would be quite different since the Porsche 911 Turbo’s all wheel drive system coupled with launch control allows for 2.8 second 0-60 times which would put the 911 Turbo 4-5 cars ahead from the start.
