Audi TT-RS vs. MK5 Supra and Dodge Challenger Hellcat – Street Hits

April 28th, 2022

These racers are taking it back to the streets (of Mexico) for an evening of grab-and-go roll racing action. Imports and domestics will do battle to see who can gobble up the most asphalt in the least time. When the racing heats up, it’s bound to get wild on the interstate. In the first contest, we have a Mark V Toyota Supra (performance exhaust downpipe and a Botti tune) going against an Audi TT-RS that has been modified with an aftermarket intake manifold, a performance exhaust downpipe and a DS1 tune. Multiple hits and numerous camera angles in this segment. Read More

Fastest Dodge Charger in the World

March 4th, 2022

Permit me to introduce what is being billed as the World’s Fastest Dodge Charger. I must begin by saying that is not a Hellcat. Instead, we have a larger engine with an aftermarket blower and it’s making plenty of horsepower. Have a look. This is no widebody. It’s a base model Charger. The engine is a billet 7.0-liter (426 cid) HEMI with a Drag Pack blower (custom built and ported by Dustin Whipple). There is also a kit of nitrous (not in use today). The transmission is a TH400 automatic by Proformance. The rear end is also a billet unit. Read More

Old School Drag Racing – 1971 HEMI Dodge Charger vs 1967 Chevrolet Impala SS

June 15th, 2021

This video takes us back to an era when cars were big and beautiful, and engines were larger than life. Featured are a pair of old school classics that struck fear in the heart of the competition for decades. The HEMI powered Charger is so ugly that it’s cute and the Impala has the classic lines of an automotive work of art. The bone stock 1971 Dodge Charger Super Bee is outfitted with a 426 cubic-inch HEMI engine and a four-barrel carb. The transmission is a 3-speed automatic, and the rear end has a 4.10:1 final drive gear ratio. The Read More

700HP 1965 Dodge Coronet – Old School Drag Car

March 31st, 2021

When you happen to hear the term “old school” thrown around – as it pertains to drag racing – this is what they are talking about. The vehicle featured in this video represents everything that was good and proper about old school hot rodding and drag/street racing. Take a look. First things first: the car is a 1965 Dodge Coronet 440. Yes, it is a HEMI, and it has plenty of cubic inches and makes an abundance of power. The naturally aspirated (N/A) engine is actually a Mopar Performance 472 cubic-inch HEMI. It has had “a little work” done to Read More

Modified C7 Corvette ZR1 vs. Whipple Hellcat – Street Hits

January 20th, 2021

This cat is taking it to the streets. Hellcat that is – with a massive 4.5-liter Whipple supercharger. Today, this kitty is taking on a 2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 that has been upgraded with some bolt-on performance parts. Can the Corvette handle the over-the-top power of the enhanced Hellcat or will it fall short in a roll racing contest? Let’s go to the video. The C7 Corvette is equipped with a 6.2-liter supercharged (Lingenfelter) V8 engine. Modifications include a cold air intake, exhaust headers and catless downpipes, an oversized throttle body, a throttle body spacer and a performance tune. The Read More

1000HP Turbo Charger Hellcat – Street Hits

June 2nd, 2020

No, your eyes have not failed you – this Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat sedan is rocking a turbocharger and a supercharger. Whoa! Wait a minute. While there is a supercharger bolted between the cylinder heads, it is only being used as an intake manifold. It has a belt but no guts inside. A turbocharger has taken its place as the sole source of forced air induction. The stock (6.2-liter HEMI) engine block has been upgraded with performance pistons and connecting rods. The crankshaft is factory, but the camshaft has also been upgraded. The turbocharger is a Borg Warner S488 SX-E Read More

8-Second Jeep Grand Cherokee

May 30th, 2016

Check out this all-wheel drive 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 putting down an 8-second 1/4-mile at 167.41 mph. This is one SUV that you probably don’t want to roll off the line against. With a built (by Mark Hedrick) 6.1-liter HEMI and a top-mounted (Stage6 Motorsports) Precision ProMod 94-millimeter turbocharger, this Mopar is making 1300hp and getting down the 1320 with the best of them. This video brings us a small dose of shop tuning and setup; followed by a single pass at the drag strip. In addition to the engine modifications and the turbo, this Jeep has a custom Read More

World’s Fastest Hellcat Sedan?

August 6th, 2015

Our videographer documents this High Horse Performance (HHP) tuned 2015 Dodge Charger Hellcat (in Redline Red) posting a 10.57 @ 130 mph in the 1/4-mile. To make matters worse on all of you Hellcat driving hard-tails, this grocery-getter is piloted down the 1320 by a pretty lady. Adding further insult to injury is the fact that this clip was taken on a 90+ degree day, adding validity to the claim that on a cooler day this pretty kitty will do even better. The 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat, with a 6.2-liter supercharged HEMI, comes right out of the crate producing 640hp. Read More
