We have some video and time slip data from ToTheFloor of the first real world 1/4 mile run by the new McLaren 675LT that just happens to making it’s first pass vs a Lamborghini Huracan at Palm Beach International Raceway.

The McLaren 675LT drops some weight from the standard 650S, weighing in at around 3,000 pounds and adds power as well, making 666HP from it’s 3.8L V8 Twin Turbocharged engine.   These stats tower over the Huracan’s 3,400 pounds and naturally aspirated 5.2L V10 making 610HP.   The only advantage the Huracan has during a 1/4 mile race it’s it’s all wheel drive system vs the 675LT’s rear wheel drive.

In this race, it’s not nearly enough, with the McLaren 675LT running 10.6 @ 135 MPH vs the Huracan’s 10.9 @ 127 MPH.  Weather wasn’t great down in South Florida for this race so we’re hoping for some better times from the McLaren 675LT since McLaren’s own stats show a 142 MPH trap speed, which should be enough to get the 675LT in the 9’s with the right track conditions and weather.    In better conditions we’ve seen the McLaren 650S Spyder run 10.3 @ 137.4 MPH.
