With a claimed best 1/4-mile E.T. of 10.56-seconds and a big set of Nitto 555 high-performance tires, this little roadster raises plenty of eyebrows. One of the things that makes this a unique build is that the Fiero is designed with a mid-mounted engine (it’s in the trunk). That makes for a whole new set of challenges when it comes to traction but the owner of this ride has it well in hand with some beefy suspension modifications.

The real surprise comes when you lift the “bonnet” and discover a 5.3-liter LS1 engine and a monster 72-millimeter turbocharger. This thing gets off the line like a rocket and blasts through the 1/4-mile in stunning fashion. The next time you’re in New Mexico (trolling for some action) be sure to look up this fireball of a Fiero.
