January 29th, 2022

This clip pits a pair of high-flying imports against one another on the street. Both these automobiles have been enhanced for speed and performance. Let’s take a closer look at the cars and buckle-up for a ride along as these competitors take it to the streets (of Mexico). Giddy-up!

The new Toyota Supra is manufactured in collaboration with BMW. Under the hood is an all-aluminum 3.0-liter inline 6-cylinder engine that is turbocharged and intercooled. Factory equipped, the Supra can burst from 0 to 60 mph in 3.7-seconds and turn the quarter-mile in 12.1-seconds at 117 mph. The feisty turbocharged 6-cylinder can produce 382hp 368 lb.-ft. of torque at peak RPM. The Supra seen in this video has been modified with a beefed-up motor and transmission, performance intake manifold, high-flow exhaust, a methanol injection and a Botti tune. It is also burning E85 fuel.

Propelling the 2019 Mercedes-Benz E63 S AMG is a twin turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine capable of producing 603hp and 627 lb.-ft. of torque. This stock E63 S AMG can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in only 3.0-seconds and eclipse the quarter-mile in 11.1-seconds at 126 mph. This Mercedes has also been modified for performance, including exhaust downpipes, an aftermarket intake manifold, a CPC performance tune and the addition of VP import racing fuel from MTech.

What do you say we get these two stallions out on the street and see which is the superior machine?
