Congratulations to Dave Jarvis with his 1978 Chevrolet G Van for becoming October’s car of the month. Dave’s van is quite a surprising machine, pulling of wheel stands and running 9.9 @ 132 MPH in the 1/4 mile. Dave’s van is running a 418 CI Chevy Small block engine with a 200HP shot of nitrous on top. Running that power through a 4l80- E Overdrive Stock GM with a 3,000 stall allows him to pull of some very nice 60′ times in the 1.3x range while lifting the front wheels. Dave will receive a case of synthetic Mobil 1 oil provided by Mobil 1. Take a look at some pictures and videos of this literal sleeper!
