I finally got around to shooting some real-time video as the cars sits today. As you can tell there are many videos between the youtube footage and now, I will try and hasten their delivery. The white floppy things late in the vid are a couple of Tie-Wraps subbing for windshield wipers. Going fast sure creates a lot of wind noise.

Taking my 383 V8 Bug for a spin.
Here's a video of my 383 sbc bug. It has 10.39:1 CR with vortec heads, runs 98 octane race gas, 750 cfm carb, summit stage I intake, isky cam 201278 278 duration, 234 @ .050, 106 LSA, .450 lift, built th350, B&M 2,300 - 2,500 stall, stock 7.625 S10 rear with 3.08. I need more gearing, and a stronger rear, but that will come later.

I took a 60 vw bug that was sitting for 25 years, rebuilt a motor for it, and took it to the track. Didnt even wash it! to Prove whats on the outside isnt what counts. Its what we DONT see that does. Motor is all VW with stock block clearenced for stroker crank, stock crank is welded stroker, has 92mm pistons to equal 2180, vw heads ported, and dual IDF webber carbs. mild 125 engle cam. I know its not a super fast car like most other videos on here, but for what it is, a stock bug with skinny 165 metric tires, and a stock vw motor with very old hot rod technology, it does pretty good. The way it is I a ran a 13.41@100mph on the stock tires. I have since pulled the motor and building 2235 with Mofoco 050 Made in USA heads, FK45, 48idf's, Pouter 1:4's

Regal: same mods as above 11.9 @ 112 in the 1/4 on slicks with some c16 race gas mixed in, m90 blower (stock) Vs full bolt on, gears, tuned 2011 Mustang v6. Regal: TVS swap with stock TVS pulley. 7psi of Boost. vs full bolt on, 3.55 gears, tuned 1998 Cobra. Regal: same setup as vs the 2011 v6 Vs 330whp low 12 second Vortech supercharged 2002 Mustang GT. Regal: TVS swap + 2.8'' pulley (14psi) and ethanol. 374whp with same mods as vs the blown GT As always the Regal had stock heads and never had an Intercooler! Thanks for all the comments! VW bug with a 1.8L subaru engine turbocharged by a WRX turbo and custom 3" straightpipe Exhaust = one "insane" sleeper
