Starmist blue paint looks to be original and I was told it was an original paint car, but I can tell it has been repainted a long time ago. The white interior is very good. I'm impressed with the body condition. I was really surprised how well it ran and drove my first time out. I drove it about 12 miles to Frank's restorations for its' service and safety check. Frank only does baby birds. He is an expert on Thunderbirds and I felt it would be very good for him to do the service and safety check, and take care of a couple small things that I found. 1957 Ford Thunderbird
This is my Grandmother's '57 T-Bird. They bought it in California 20 years ago or so, it has been in their garage ever since in John Day, Oregon, aside from a couple of parades and the like. They had the motor fixed a little, had it painted, that sort of thing. It runs alright but this was the first time it was started in over a year. I had to crank the idle up a bit to keep it from dying, but then we just drove to Canyon City and back, it was pretty fun! Enjoy.

This is an absolutely gorgeous 57 T-Bird. It is ready for serious concours competition, touring or just gawking at it parked in your garage. We are still researching all of its history, but this Dusk Rose Thunderbird was a low mileage AACA Senior Award winning car in 1995. That means prior to restoration this was at least a 94 point car on a 100 point scale. By 2005 it benefited from a full, no expense spared rotisserie restoration from the craftsmen at Performance Auto Group in New York. This T-Bird and muscle car specialty shop still uses this car as their website attraction to showcase their restoration abilities.
