Test Driving 1967 Chevrolet Camaro 502 Big-Block Restomod - Fast Lane Classic Cars
I thought you'd like a look at this awesome 1967 Chevrolet Camaro. This beast is powered by a ZZ502 Big-block crate engine, that's pushing out 502 HP and 567 LbFt of Torque. All that power is being funneled through a Centerforce clutch, to a Borg Warner T10 four-speed, and then back to a 12 bolt rear with 3.55 gears. This car has all the performance you need and then some. It's also a beautifully restored car, from the ultra slick black exterior with SS trim, to the completely restored houndstooth interior. It's also equipped with front disc brakes, Eagle Alloy wheels, and BF Goodrich ZR speed rated tires. This car goes, turns, and stops amazingly well. I hope you find it interesting...thanks for taking a look!

The Cars of Queens: Part I - BIG MUSCLE
Before BIG MUSCLE had its feet planted firmly in West Coast soil, it was stationed here... in beautiful Queens, NY. Now while most people would never think of Queens as a destination spot, believe me when I tell you that in this land of graffiti, window bars and padlocks lies some of the coolest muscle cars that you're ever likely to see. This is Part I of BIG MUSCLEs two part episode on the "Cars of Queens". In this episode we take a look at a wicked 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle SS drop-top and a stunning 1968 Dodge Coronet R/T. Both cars have been updated accordingly in all departments and both cars were conceived to be, at their cores, bad-ass New York street fighters.

LT1 Camaro Z28 messing with Classic 455 GTO on the street
Late-Model Camaro Z28 messing around with a classic 455 powered GTO... The GTO jams it and then one of the passengers thought they were being tailed by an undercover B4C Camaro holding a radar gun (video camera, lol)... you can see the nervous, unsure look on his face as we roll beside... then the total relief once he recognized an old friend behind the wheel...lol.
This was shot many years ago with an old analog camera, so apologize for the poor quality...

132756 / 1970 Pontiac GTO Judge
For more information on this vehicle visit http://tinyurl.com/crqpdk3
Painstakingly restored to better than showroom condition, and expertly detailed with a Judge stripe package, it was awarded a perfect score at the 2007 All Pontiac Nationals in Orlando, Florida and featured in the January 2009 issue of Muscle Car Review.
According to the Pontiac Historical Services documentation included with this 1970 GTO, the car was originally produced at GM's Pontiac Michigan assembly plant and delivered to Price Motors Inc. of Morristown, Tennessee. Recently, it underwent a highly detailed nut and bolt, frame-off restoration which transformed it into a great performing and high scoring show car. The restorers began by stripping the cars solid body all the way down to bare metal and making it as smooth as possible. Once the body was prepped and primed to virtually spotless condition, a bright basecoat of signature Pontiac Obit Orange paint was sealed under a thick, protective clearcoat. When that clearcoat dried, a thorough wet sand and buff created a brilliant shine which was topped with a new set of authentic blue, orange and pink decals.
Pop the hood on this awesome GTO and you'll find an original, numbers matching Pontiac WS 400 which has been completely rebuilt to Ram Air III specifications. Turning stout 10.8 to 1 compression into 365 horsepower and 455 lb./ft. of torque, this performance bred V8 utilizes open chamber heads, bigger valves, a hotter cam, a cast crank and cast rods to provide legendary Pontiac performance. At the top of the motor, a correct, fully functioning Ram Air system forces air into a satin black air cleaner and correct 4-barrel Carter carburetor. At the back of the motor, a correct points distributor sends power though fresh high temperature wires that snake around correct, fully restored cast iron Exhaust manifolds. At the front of the motor, a correct heavy duty radiator holds a correct fan shroud between reproduction GM hoses with correct tower clamps and a correct seven blade fan.
Take one look underneath this GTO and you'll really begin to appreciate the amount of time spent restoring this car to a better than factory appearance. In the middle of the chassis a modern Borg Warner Super T10 close ratio 4-speed sends power through a fresh driveshaft to a fully restored 10 bolt Safe-T-Track rear end with tall 4.11 gears. The cars original double A-arm front and four link rear suspension has been completely restored to factory specifications and features correct variable ratio power steering, correct new shocks and correct GTO anti-roll bars. New bushings and body mounts give the car a showroom slick ride, and a fresh mandrel bent true dual Exhaust system lines up an X-pipe with dual chamber Flowmaster mufflers to create one of the toughest Exhaust notes in the classic car hobby. At the corners of the car, black and silver 14 inch Pontiac Rally II wheels wear reproduction G70x14 Firestone Wide Oval tires and feature cool red lettered "PMD" center caps.
Inside this killer Pontiac you'll find an essentially new black vinyl interior which, when combined with the cars Orbit Orange paint, creates the ultimate GTO color palete. In front of the driver, a straight and crack-free dash wears awesome looking engine turned silver trim below bright wood applique and correct Rally gauges. At the center of the car, a straight black console holds an optional 8-track player and a chrome Hurst T-handle shifter between fully restored and stainless trimmed black vinyl bucket seats. At the sides of those seats, good looking black door panels which are set of by correct stainless trim and correct red inlayed, satin finished "GTO" emblems, and feature new chrome handles for both the doors and windows. Below those seats, like-new carpet runs from under the chrome trimmed foot pedals to the plush rear seat. And in front of those seats, a deluxe steering wheel features satin finished spokes between a bright PMD horn button and a weather-free wood rim.
With a perfect scoring restoration and a numbers matching V8 engine, nothing will interfere with this car being both a weapon on the street and a winner in the show field. Call, click or visit http://RKMotorsCharlotte.com for more information on this awesome car!
132563 / 1972 Pontiac GTO
For more information on this vehicle visit http://tinyurl.com/7apck5f
One of the most aggressive looking GTO's ever built the 1972 model was once again an options package and had a pile of comfort and style while retaining much of the bite of its forebears. This very cool Lucerne Blue number retains all of its original body panels, its original 400ci engine, is exactly as the Pontiac Historical Society documents lay it out and it's a four speed - that's the way you want one. Great cars to drive these tigers are collectables on the rise!
Underneath, you'll find an exceptionally clean chassis. This isn't a full frame off restoration - it didn't need one! Those are the original, clean floors, rust free frame and original rear end and handling package suspension. A quick evaluation is all that's necessary to see the original brake and fuel systems were up to their tasks and required no major replacement. That's the original undercoating you're looking at! So many of these cars died an early death it's refreshing to see one that's so clean!
Deep blue paint covers the rock solid, original exterior. The front end is definitely the best part with its straight body color bumper, excellent deeply inset grilles and aggressive hood. The GTO exclusive fenders with rear air extractors add interest to the sides of the car and look awesome with the mint Rally II wheels and new Firestone G70x15 Wide Ovals. The body is straight - care taken during its cosmetic restoration is evident. The trim and chrome is in excellent shape and is mostly original to the car. Bodywork was minimal and the finish work was done to a high standard. This is an attractive car with no hidden gremlins.
Comfortable black vinyl seats with new covers are the order of the day in the restored interior. The sculpted, clean dash pad covers the fully functional and clean original gauge cluster and nice original engine turned finish panels. Original door panels with original armrests are very nice, interior chrome is original and excellent and there's new carpet at your feet. The factory Formula steering wheel is in excellent shape and feels great in your hands. The center console with its Hurst shifter is also a clean original - there are no complaints from in here. The cabin's simply a great place to spend time!
Open the trunk to find a brand new Wide Oval mounted to a fifth, mint Rally II wheel. There's a new mat on the floor, the proper jack, new weather-stripping on the rail and a fresh coat of spatter paint underneath. Like the interior and undercarriage, there are no problems and no surprises.
Pop the hood and find the original, numbers matching engine in a detailed engine bay. That's the correct original air cleaner on top of the rebuilt mill. Some liberty was taken with the internals as the compression's up to around 10:1 and there's a Ram Air IV spec cam to get the power up to where you'd expect a 400 to be. Those are original chrome valve covers on the motor, a restored vacuum Booster and master cylinder on the firewall and a new battery and correct spring clamp cables tucked away in the corner. New belts and hoses (with correct tower clamps) are reliable replacements in this excellent driver!
Solid, original body and engine cars are tough to come by. So are desirable cars with great color combinations and manual transmissions. And, so are cars which are still affordable! This car's all three and it's only going to get more valuable over time! Don't wait on this one!
