1980 trans am trying to start after 24 years in storage
UPDATE- here is my restoration page with pictures if anyone is interested
i just bought this 1980 trans am. its %100 complete but the guy had taken
it apart before storage in 1987.
i am putting it back together to drive it this summer
i put some oil in the cylinders before i tried to start it.
Pontiac Firebird 1992 3.1 V6 - Walkaround
This is my 1992 Pontiac Firebird 3.1L V6. The engine is still cold
(~+60°C) and the environment temperature is around +5°C.
The car didn't move for a month, so a lot of condensate comes out of the
mufflers. The Dynomax
"Super turbo" Exhaust system is brand new.
In the upper right of the engine bay is a cold-start regulator (the odd
black box), which is necessary to reach "EURO-2" and to save tax.

1978 SUPER BANDIT Stage 2 Trans Am 468 ci 500+ tq built by Southern Classic Trans Ams
This '78 Super Bandit Stage 2 was sold and you can view our newest build
advertisement in ebay using item #181278382346. The build on our 3rd Super
Bandit is 90% completed. It will also have the Dyno tuned 468 stroker with cold
air induction. Improvements to our 3rd Super Bandit over our previous ones
include a camshaft upgrade to a Comp Cam .520/.540 roller, taller Ferrea
valves to match the cam and the carb modified to a 850 cfm Q Jet for
increased hp/tq. The front and rear bumper covers are upgraded to the new
fiberglass type. The paint is base/clear with all of the decals under 3
coats of clear. Top coat of clear to be lightly wet sanded and buffed for
that glass smooth shine! Other standard items include a rebuilt 4 speed
Borg Warner ST10 manual trans, 3.42 posi rear, converted to factory 1979
type 4 wheel disc brakes with drilled/slotted rotors and ceramic brake
pads, Year One 17" snowflake wheels, upgraded instrumentation which
includes 8k tachometer and 160 speedometer, upgraded AC system and gold Y
88 T tops. The black and gold SE look is present on the outside and inside.
Bottom side of floors cleaned and painted in red primer. All new brake/fuel
