1969 Buick GS400. Burn that RUBBER!!
The big boy wanted to show off on this day, so I helped him. The BFG tires don't stand a chance and never did. Gobs of torque make this all too easy.

1966 Buick Convertible Barn Find Rescue, Part 1
This is the story of a '66 Buick Special convertible that had been abandoned in Arizona in 1978 by the family of Rick Pewe, editor of 4-Wheel & Off-Road magazine. In 2011, the guys from HOT ROD Magazine, in conjunction with Rick, spent four days bringing the car back from the dead with plans to drive it home from Phoenix to Los Angeles. This is part 1, with the hacking fun the guys had rescuing the car. Look for part two, loaded with road-trip hilarity. The story is printed in the September 2011 issue of HOT ROD Magazine.

9 Second Buick GSX Stage2 GS Stage1 9.51 @ 140
We originally built this car with Frank Urbinati back in 1996.It debuted at the GS Nationals where it won the GS Pro Street class races. It was also the 1st GS Pro Street class car to break into the 9's at the time. Thanks to Frank this project came to life. Fast forward to 2010 and the car has been taken over by Bob Ortolani, the car still looks great and Bob decided to bring it up another level. We were happy to have the car come back to our shop and to have the opportunity to work with Bob and put together the new powerplant. The video shows the results of our 1st day out to tune the engine. The 1st two passes were shakedowns to check fuel/oil pressures and get a feel for the new combo. By the 3rd run we had posted a 9.62 @ 138 hitting the 7100rpm rev limiter chip! The 4th run was a 9.52 @ 140. On the 5th run it went 9.51 @ 140.65! After a good cool down and a timing adjustment we were ready to try for a 9.40 run, launching right off idle the car gave us a nice big unexpected wheelie! The wheelie sure lookes cool but we know we can go quicker with a little more suspension work to straighten out the launch and try to keep the front down. We're sure it'll go into the 9.40's yet and maybe even 30's after everything is worked out.

1971 BUICK GSX 455 1 OF ONLY 124 MADE SOLD! NEW UPDATE FINISHED AND HAS BEEN SOLD!!!
This is a original 1971 Buick GSX 455 car. Yes this is a original, NOT A CLONE, 1 of only 124 ever made in 71 that includes 350, 455 and 455 stage 1 cars all together. This car is registered in the GSX registry. This car was not known to exist until it was discovered a little while ago. There are 3 known so far out of all 1971 GXS's to have a paint code of 62 which is Bittersweet Mist. The others Bittersweet Mist GSX's are restored one is only a 350 engine and 350 auto tranny car. The other is a stage 1 455 car. So this is the only 455 engine 1971 GSX made in the color Bittersweet Mist to date. I have talked to the original owner and have a document that has been signed by him and notorized stating that this is a true 1971 GSX, which he bought on march 12, 1971. I have the original protecto plate This car is a 4owner car, and can be traced to every owner and all the owners are still alive. This was bought brand new at Key Buick & Opel in Jacksonville, Florida on 3/12/71. It stayed in Florida until mid 1979, then it went to the last of the 3 owners in Alabama where it stayed until about a month ago 2/1/08. Now it resides with me here in Pa. This was always a southern car and is about 98% rust free. It has just a little around the back rear window and a pin hole in the rear seat pan and where the battery box is, that was because of a leaky battery but thats it. I have alot of picture of the doors, trunk, floors, fenders, rad support, frame, etc and all of that is 100% solid. This is a very original car with the exception for the block as it was damaged back in the late 1970's and could not be repaired so it was changed with another but the rest of the car is all near original as you see it in the video. This car has had the passenger side door fixed back in 1971 only 3 months after it was new this was told to me by the original owner. The paint is nearly all original with the exception for the drivers door and rear quater. The interior, transmission, which is the original matching numbers turbo 400, original posi rear end, suspension, etc. This is a unmolested car that still retains, from what I can tell, all of it's original sheetmetal with the exception of the drivers door from what I can tell. you can see in the pictures the faded original paint as well as the original faded painted GSX stripes and hood treatment and the faded GSX decals. This car has a tanish interior and has the following options 455 motor, automatic turbo 400, air conditioning, GSX option, Bittersweet Mist paint, tan bucket seat interior, center console, courtesy light package, front and rear bumperettes, power steering, power disk brakes, 3:42 posi rear end heavy duty 10 bolt that only came on the GSX,15" ralley rims. It is sometimes hard to find 1970 GSX's but there out there as they made 678 and they only came in 2 colors yellow or white now compare that to a 1971 GSX which they only made 124 period and you can get them now in special order colors because every GSX had to be special ordered, that was the only way you could get one. If anyone wants a chance to own a original 1971 GSX here is your chance. These cars in #1 condition will bring near $150,000 because of what they are. The car was inspected by a very well know GSX expert and National judge( Duane Heckman of philadelphia, pa.). He shared his findings and pictures with a other well known GSX judge to also verify that THIS IS A GENUINE 1971 GSX. He took every date code he could find. He proved that the car has all of it's original sheetmetal with the exception of the drivers side door. The drivers door is a genuine GM part but was put on the car a couple months after it was purchased. There was some damage on the very front of the drivers side quater as well. This is why the black paint is mostly off the drivers side stripe. These 2 areas were repainted in 1971 as well as the stripes. Now the rest of the car still reatains it's original paint and stripes as well as GSX decals. The proof is in the stripes being that they are original to the car. The spoiler, tach, wheels, interior, bumpers, headlight assemblys, hood, suspension are all original to the car. All of the options on the car was also verified. I hope this helps everyone out. There is proof on this car and it is now documented as a true original 1971 GSX in bittersweet mist. if anyone has any questions about the inspection please email me or call 570-875-7109. Thanks for your interest... UPDATE::::: The car has had a rotisserie high grade restoration and recieved Gold 2 times and the nationals. The car is for sale. The car was put back to factory specs everywhere as well as finding a correct block. If anyone is interested please feel free to call me. Sorry the car has been sold for $100,000. If anyone has any questions please email me or call Me(Marty) at 570-875-7109.

1970 Buick GSX "The Hemi Killer"
Here is the Holy Grail of the GM/Buick Musclecars and is better known as the Hemi killer. Truly one of the fastest, and rarest, musclecars of all time. Meet the beautiful 1970 Buick GSX Stage I. Largest torque rating of all 1970 cars at 510 lb/ft and a grossly underrated horsepower of 360. These cars were scary fast right off the showroom floor and few cars of the era came close to them at the strip. This desirable Saturn Yellow example has been restored from the ground up and is in period-correct, pristine condition. It has been restored according to factory specs and is currently optioned just like it was in 1970. Full numbers-matching drivetrain. This car also has won the Buick Nationals on several occasions and has done so as recently as 2007. It is unbelievably documented. We're talking Protecto-Plate, Original Framed Sales Invoice, build sheet, and a broadcast sheet that was found under the carpet. Also comes with all the original dealer paperwork and a lot of ownership history. A true southerner, it was sold new in Atlanta, GA on May 12, 1970. The buyer traded in a 1969 Buick Riviera and drove out in this musclecar legend. Only around 400 GSX Stage I's were ever produced. Own a piece of American history. They don't build them like this anymore! For more details call us at toll free (866)542-8392 or (704)598-2130.
