Flywheel Tip
A common problem with the replacement flywheel's on LLV's has been the ring gear welded off center to the plate. If this happens the starter teeth will most likely grind with the new flywheel. If you don't want to replace the flywheel a second time, check it before you install it. Here's how.

Solving Engine Performance Issues (Part 1) - EricTheCarGuy

My main point here is that if you have a performance problem and you're going to throw parts at the problem start with the basics before you to off and start replacing sensors that you suspect are a problem, if you don't have evidence of a faulty sensor then don't start there start with the simple tune up items and check for vacuum leaks and air leaks as I've shown here and I believe you'll have better results and save yourself some money in the process. In short the rule of KISS applies, Keep It Simple Stupid. Worn Dual Mass Flywheel - garageexeter.com
Jeff demonstrates what a worn dual mass flywheel looks like and shows the difference to a new one. A lot of companies say the flywheels can be skimmed, but infact the worn springs inside the flywheel means it has to be replaced completly.
