VW GTI with 800hp mid-engine V6 turbo
Featured in the December 2010 issue of eurotuner magazine, check out this incredible Golf GTI from 034Motorsport in Fremont, CA. It features a mid-mounted single-turbo Audi S4 2.7T V6 with custom chargecooler and subframe plus Porsche rear end, Porsche suspension and brakes all round. The 2010 eurotuner magazine Grand Prix was the year we unveiled the 034Motorsport GTI-RS for the world to see what it was capable of. The GTI-RS is a Mk4 Golf GTI with a mid mounted Audi 3.0l V6, turbocharged to run anywhere from 600-1200HP. It also features a 996 turbo rear suspension and unique 6-speed transmission to drive the massive rear Porsche turbo twist wheels. We are proud of our showing at the 2010 ETGP, we won the Dyno and road course events outright and broke in the drag racing event due to a sheared axle output flange.

In Vorbereitung auf die 4. Runde der Toyo SE Serie mußten noch Daten für die neue E85 Abstimmung aufgezeichnet werden. Leider war eine Messung im 3. Gang aufgrund mangelnder Traktion nicht möglich, deshalb wurde im 4. Gang bis ca. 270km/h aufgezeichnet.

Its vindication came in the for of an overall win, and a 1, 2, 2 finish in all 3 events.
