2013 Ford Flex EcoBoost Car Video & Crossover Review
http://www.autobytel.com/ford/flex/2013/ The 2013 Ford Flex is a crossover vehicle that has won the hearts of many owners out there. Part car, part van, and part station wagon; the Flex is full of surprises. Can any other station wagon haul seven people and all their gear with over 365 horsepower? There are 3 different trim levels starting with the SE which costs $30,885, the SEL which costs $33,225, up to the Limited EcoBoost AWD which costs $43,850.
There is quite a big gap there but the 3 different trims come in either FWD or AWD configurations. The SE and SEL are powered by a 3.5 Liter V-6 that pushes 285 horsepower while getting 18 MPG in the city and 25MPG on the highway. Step up to the twin-turbocharged V-6 EcoBoost engine with AWD will cost you a few miles per gallon (16 MPG in the city and 23 MPG on the highway), but you get 365 horsepower and 350 lb-ft. of torque in return.
The 3rd row seating features a 50/50 split folding bench. The 2013 Ford Flex is quite versatile and there is a ton of cargo room with over 80 cubic feet of storage space. The doors are large enough to make entering and exiting the vehicle a breeze. There is a lot of legroom for adults. Also the Flex can be purchased with all the Ford technology available like Voice Activated Navigation to the SYNC in-car connectivity system.
On the outside there is no mistaking the 2013 Ford Flex with any old crossover or station wagon. The styling is bold and Ford took some risks with the interesting grille up front, chrome accents, and the grooved door panels that run down the side of the Flex. The two-tone paint gives the Flex a modern throw-back feel. The large 20-inch aluminum wheels make a visual statement. The 2013 Ford Flex is definitely one of the coolest crossover cruisers out there.

2013 Ford Explorer Sport EcoBoost 4x4 Test Drive & Crossover SUV Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/ford/explorer/2013/sport-4x4/ The Ford Explorer started the SUV movement back in 1991 with a simple two box body on frame design that brought utility to a whole new level. However things have changed for the familiar Blue Oval badged hauler, and now the Explorer is much more forgiving crossover than the SUV it once was thanks to 21st century unibody construction, since it essentially rides on a car chassis. However this hasn't stopped Ford from stiffening up the chassis, shoehorning their big 3.5 Liter twin turbocharged EcoBoost V6 under the hood and sending power to all four wheels to create the 2013 Ford Explorer Sport, which just so happens to be the most expensive Explorer that money can buy, with a base price of over $40k
With the 2013 Ford Explorer Sport 4x4, the company has gone all out. On the outside the first thing you notice is the technical wrap meaning Ford basically blacked everything out. The high gloss grille is combined with low gloss mesh which sweep into the cool cut headlamps. The lower bumper has a blacked out look with integrated fog lights. The Explorer Sport has 20-inch wheels wrapped in sticky rubber which are a half-inch wider than the standard Explorer tires. On the side the sills, cargo bars, and side mirrors are all blacked out. Everything looks great together and you know the Explorer Sport means business.
The great looks are not where the 2013 Ford Explorer Sport ends; one look under the hood reveals some serious power. The engine is a powerful and fun 3.5 liter V-6 EcoBoost motor. Output is a hefty 365 horsepower and 350 lb-ft. of torque. The 6-speed automatic transmission has paddle shifters too. Fuel Economy checks in at 17 MPG in the city and 23 MPG on the highway.
The Ford Explorer Sport is actually a sporty vehicle on the road. The EcoBoost engine puts out more horsepower than the Porsche Cayenne V-6. The Crossover SUV handles well and corners very flat thanks to the extra engine brace, AWD system, and sticky wide tires.

2013 Ford Mustang 5.0 GT Test Drive & Sports Car Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/ford/Mustang/2013/ The 2013 Ford Mustang 5.0 GT continues the heritage of the pony car in a big way. The base Mustang comes with a powerful V-6 engine while the GT gets the venerable 5.0 liter V-8 engine. The Mustang is a no non-sense muscle car that combines everything from the old iconic car and combines it with modern technology. The result is a great performing sports car that pays homage to the Mustangs of year gone by. The 2013 Ford Mustang base V-6 costs $22,200 while the 5.0 GT Coupe starts at $30,300.
The 2013 Mustang GT is powered by a 5.0 liter V-8 engine that makes 412 horsepower and 390 lb-ft. of torque. The engine features a high 11:1 compression ratio, Coil on Plug ignition, and variable camshaft timing. Transmission choices are either a six-speed manual or a six-speed SelectShift automatic. Fuel economy figures are 15 MPG in the city and 26 MPG on the highway.
The 2013 Ford Mustang features a new front end that looks similar to the Shelby GT500 with its aggressive front bumper and splitter that adds downforce. The hood features functional heat extractors. The wheels are 18-inch painted aluminum pieces. Out back the taillights have LEDs integrated in them which really pop at night. On the inside the 2013 Ford Mustang GT also revisits some former glory with a big dose of modern technology. Retro meets cool thanks to the stylish gauges and the double dip dash. The Recaro seats hint at the true sports car heritage underneath. These seats are comfortable and very supportive. The aluminum accents give the Mustang some flair while the interior lighting can be adjusted to fit your mood. The Shaker Audio System includes a few subwoofers.
The 2013 Ford Mustang GT is a car you can have a blast in. No longer is the Mustang a straight-line Muscle car, instead it has morphed into a true sports car with a very affordable price tag. You can order the 2013 Ford Mustang as a coupe or a convertible. There is a great variety of extras, options, and packages to make your Mustang stand out from the crowd.

2012 Porsche Panamera Test Drive & Luxury Sports Car Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/porsche/panamera/2012/ The 2012 Porsche Panamera is an interesting combination of automotive delicacies. The Panamera is one part sports car, one part luxury car, one part hatchback, and one part sedan. Over the past decade, Porsche has created a few unique vehicles to target a broad range of car buyers. The Boxster is aimed at the entry level sports car enthusiast while the Cayenne is aimed at those looking for a quick SUV. But the Panamera offers 911 performance with a usable back seat. The 2012 Porsche Panamera can range from $75,200 for the base model all the way to $173,200 for the top of the line turbo S model.
The vehicle tested in this video is the base model Panamera 4 (AWD). It is powered by a lightweight and direct injected 3.6 liter V-6 engine that makes 300 horsepower and 295 lb-ft. of torque. The transmission is the famous PDK twin-cutch 7-speed unit that shifts lighting quick. Fuel economy on the 2012 Porsche Panamera is 18 MPG in the city and 26 MPG on the highway thanks in part to an auto start/stop system which shuts down the engine while the car is sitting idle. Sixty MPH flies by in 5.8 seconds and the Panamera 4 has a top speed of 159 MPH. The Panamera handles incredibly well thanks to the Porsche Traction Management system. The AWD monitors driving situations and can adjust power as need. The Panamera is equipped with Anti-Slip Regulation and Automatic Brake Differential.
Porsche Active Suspension Management is optional on the Panamera 4. This system provides electronic dampening at all 4 corners of the car thus reducing body roll and increasing handling. The system will also tighten up the setting based on the selection of modes: Comfort, Sport, and Sport Plus. The rims are 18-inch alloys wrapped in sticky rubber. The 2012 Porsche Panamera comes with huge 360 mm brakes up front and 330 mm brakes out back. The calipers are six-piston units. Safety wise besides all the electronic computer controlled systems, the Panamera 4 features a full compliment of 2-stage airbags for both the front and rear passengers.
With the rear seats up the Panamera has a luggage compartment with over 15 cubic feet of storage space. But with he seats down the hatchback design allows for over 44 cubic feet of cargo room which is a large amount for this segment. And believe it or not the 2012 Porsche Panamera can tow up to 4850 lbs. The Panamera is a very efficient and powerful sports car that offers a high level of luxury and sophistication while being able to transport 4 passengers in style.

2013 Ford Explorer Sport Review, Walkaround, Exhaust, Test Drive
More than just a "sport" badge, Ford's new Explorer with the 3.5 EcoBoost delivers some driving enjoyment from behind the wheel with not much fuel penalty from the base 3.5 V6. Our only complaints are a tight 3rd row and a hefty price tag, making it one of the most expensive in the class. If you can swing the cost, you will feel as if you are driving the most premium feeling family crossover in the segment.

Reviewed: 2013 Ford Flex
Back in 2009 the Ford Flex was the first car we reviewed when we rebooted the blog, now three and a half years later, Ford has refreshed the Flex and we want to see how far it has come. When we reviewed back in '09 we were blown away by how good it was, does it still remain that way? And, can we explain why such a great Crossover hasn't had mainstream acceptance. Watch the video to find out.
