After one of the shortest breaks from the track, we returned to Calder Park
on the 22 of the 1st 2010, for another action packed Friday Night. This
time it was the Pistol Pete show, as he tested his Camero as well as the
Track. But Pistol Pete wasn't the only entrant, in fact there was a full
feild of competitors, both in the street car class and in the Pro Street
class. Whilst the sky above threatened, and history suggests that Calder
Park is a rain magnet, it didn't open up on us, making for an amazing night
of drag action. so sit back and enjoy nearly 40 minutes of racing over 4

For the final time in 2009 Hpheaven headed up the road to Calder Park
Raceway for a night of Hoon Heaven as the AMC put on the legal off street
drags. Although not officially touted as a Christmas meet, there was a good
vibe in the air as once again over 200 competitors made their way through
the turnstiles. Amoungst those were some familiar names like Athans and
Robinson, as well as Operation Drag Right and the boys behind Wytjet and
blujet. There was a healthy mix of Fords Vs Holdens, as well as Nissans and
US Muscle cars, and a few rotaries to boot. There was also the odd Renault
and even a sporty little Volts Wagon Golf, which made a fast pase down the
quarter mile. But the honours for night went to George from Hadad racing
with his Mustangs opening
up the throttle and leaving hot tracks down the runway. It was Eddy's
birthday and special thanks goes to Adam. Friday Nights Are Back! And we
have over 45 minutes of non stop action to prove it! So sit back, adjust
you seatbelt, check your mirrors and enjoy the ride!

As the summer continued to approach, the weather continued to warm up and
in between sprouts of rain, it was apparent that the racing season was well
and truly upon us.
With some sensational action throughout the relatively short night the 22nd
of October highlighted what was to come. With Operation Drag Right racing
in some of their unmarked vechiles, as well as their more traditional
highway patrol marked cars, and the dragster out for some quick times,
Michael Braggs was also out running in his new aquisition, while many of
the street racers were pushing records. Lane two proved to be the lucky
lane for the night, with most of the winning times recorded there. And of
course Hp Heaven is pleased to bring you all the highlights so sit back and
relax as we bring you the 22nd of October 2010 Friday night Drags from
Calder Park Raceway over two parts.

Was great to get out on a real race track and have a go!
