When you think about racecars and Le Mans, you probably think about this: the Porsche 917. You used to see this monster in videogames but in my video you can finally see how it looks like in real world! I'm proud to host on my channel this proper Le Mans hero, a Porsche 917/k to be precise. Further informations on facebook, Solitude Revival - Der Film. This is a highspeedtest for the Solitude Revival film, which was shot July, 22-24 on the Solitude track near Stuttgart. The car is a Porsche 917/10, 685 HP, Vmax over 185mph when testing the onboards at the Salzburgring. The final film will be finished late november.

This Porsche 917-025 was built for Porsche AG as a long-tail version. In 1970 was converted into a 917 "K" (K stay for Kurzheck, "short" in german), painted in white with blue stripes and sold to Team Zitro, from Switzerland. The car is moved by a 4.5 liter Flat-12 engine which can produce 580hp at 8300 rpm and it's able to reach a top speed over 350 km/h (220 mph).
